oct-logo-miles-logoJoin Oregon Cultural Trust Manager Aili Schreiner and colleagues from the Oregon Arts Commission, Oregon Heritage, Travel Oregon, Lane Arts Council, Lane County Cultural Coalition, Oregon Humanities, and the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office to learn about funding opportunities, how to apply, and more!  The event is at the Downtown Eugene Public Library (100 W 10th Ave) on Thursday, February 23rd from 1:00 to 3:30 pm.

The event is “kind of like ‘speed-dating’ for cultural nonprofits and artists to meet funders and programming agencies,” says Aili Schreiner.

Organizations encouraged to attend include libraries, arts organizations, museums, cultural centers, historical societies, arts alliances, literary groups, and heritage organizations. Individual artists and other interested members of the public are also welcome.

Eugene is one of nine communities statewide where this event will be held. “There are more than 1,450 cultural nonprofits serving Oregonians,” said Schreiner. “We want to make sure they know about the grant funds that are here to support them.”
