Students of all ages and abilities will learn the basics of drawing and color theory, while creating miniature paper tiles that can be displayed together at the end of the residency. Students will be able to understand basic color theory concepts: primary & secondary colors and color layering. They will be introduced to design terminology: balance, perspective and the “rule of thirds” and they will learn about individual and collaborative success strategies.
