Program Description
Frida Kahlo is an inspiring artist who overcame much difficulty to forge her own path and unique style as an artist, using self portraiture that often included her many pets and imagination. In this course students will create a guided self portrait in a mixed media approach that combines my own style and techniques with Frida’s. Students will learn about Frida’s life and art, my art, mixed media, themselves, and their classmates.

Final Product
Each student will have their own mixed media self portrait to treasure and share with their family and friends.
