3-5 West African Dance with West African Cultural Arts Institute: Lesson 1

Program Description

Students will be introduced to polyrhythmic drumming, the tradition of Guinean dance, and begin practicing the foundational dance steps. This program involves a lot of in-place movement, so students should have water handy to rehydrate during and after the lesson.
