SILVERTON ARTS ASSOCIATION PHOTOS
Deadline to Apply: July 8th, 2019 

The City of Silverton would like high resolution photos to use in publications, on their website, social media, and promotional materials. Photos must have a resolution of 1947 x 720. The City is looking for seasonal pictures of landscaping, the Oregon Garden, nature, historic properties, parks, murals, downtown and downtown tree lights.  The City will not be giving photo credits and does not need exclusivity rights to the photographs. Provide a link to pictures you would like the city to consider and the amount per picture.  COFFEE TABLE AND CREDENZA 3D ART & SCULPTURE

The Emerald Art Center is seeking 3D art and sculpture submissions for its juried exhibition “Coffee Table and Credenza”. Submissions must be 6-20″ in their largest dimension, for sale under $1000.00, purchase award, and must be received digitally, with images of front, side, top and rear. These works will be displayed in the Jaqua Gallery on the Mezzanine. NATIVE ARTIST RESIDENCIES – CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Artists of all disciplines: Native Artist Residencies is developing a roster of Native artists wishing to be considered for residencies in locations across the country, from Maine to Hawai’i and Alaska to Arizona.  Native Artist Residencies (NAR) is an artist-in-residence program which puts First Peoples at the center of their art-making by creating residencies in settings that support Indigenous artists’ cultural and artistic values, and offer an ideal creative environment for their work. In 2019, NAR will match Indigenous artists with selected artist communities that wish to host Native artists and help NAR develop best practices for serving their needs. These pilot partner residencies will test principles of cultural exchange, Native community engagement, relationship-building and educational consultancy services to build a model for successful Indigenous artist residencies nationwide. OREGON LITERARY FELLOWSHIP
Deadline to Apply: August 2nd, 2019 

Oregon Literary Fellowships are intended to help Oregon writers initiate, develop or complete literary projects in poetry, fiction, literary nonfiction, drama and young readers literature. Writers in the early stages of their career are encouraged to apply. In total there are 9 fellowships in the amount of $3,500 and 2 fellowships in the amount of $10,000 for writers selected by the judges for their exceptional talent. Read more


BETTY BOWEN AWARD
Deadline to Apply: August 1st, 2019 

Administered by the Seattle Art Museum, the annual Betty Bowen Award honors a Northwest artist for their original, exceptional, and compelling work. The winner is awarded an unrestricted cash prize of $15,000, and a selection of his or her works will be shown at the Seattle Art Museum in the spring of 2020. In addition, up to two Special Recognition Awards in the amount of $2,500 are often granted at the discretion of the Betty Bowen Committee. Read More


MAUDE KERNS DIA DE LOS MUERTOS EXHIBITION

The Maude Kerns Art Center invites artists to submit to the 26th annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Exhibit, October 11 – November 2, featuring two- and three-dimensional work related to the theme of the Mexican Day of the Dead. Artists are invited to submit up to five pieces for consideration by the jury. Digital images should be submitted on CD or flash drive in jpeg format (medium sized at a resolution of 300 dpi or higher). One image per piece, $10 submission fee. Read more

TWO RIVERS MASK MAKING COMPETITION

Two Rivers Art Gallery in Chiloquin, Oregon is hosting a Northwestern Regional Mask Making Competition. The show will open with a Gala Party on September 29th and close with an Awards Party on October 27th. Over $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the best masks in many fun categories including silly, scary, dramatic, surprising, glamorous and unique. $10 submission fee per each mask. Read more
