ZONE 4 ALL – NEW ZONE GALLERY

The New Zone Arts Collective will host, “ZONE 4 ALL” during the month of March, the show dates are March 1st – 29th. The non-juried show is open to all artists with any 2-D piece and 3-D work. Artists must hand deliver up to 4 ready to display pieces on February 23, 12-6pm. Read more


 

CALL TO ARTISTS FOR LAKE OSWEGO FESTIVAL

The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts presents a call for entries to their upcoming exhibit “Art in the Park,” a juried show guided by the incredible beauty and rich history of the Pacific Northwest. Drawing 25,000 visitors, the Festival promotes and showcases the work of regionally and nationally recognized makers in a broadly inclusive venue. Art in the Park, located in George Rogers Park, is an outdoor booth show open to artists who produce original, hand-made, fine art and crafts, and  makers working in long standing traditions, artists on the cutting edge, and newly emerging artists are all welcome. Categories of accepted artisans this year have been expanded to include fine instrument makers, leather workers, and Zine artists. Read more


CALL TO ARTISTS – FLORENCEFEST  2019

The Florence Regional Arts Alliance (FRAA) is excited to invite artists to participate in the 3rd annual “FlorenceFest” to be held at the Florence Events Center on April 26 and 27, 2019. This event continues to grow in popularity and over 800 people are expected to attend. Selection for the exhibit will be made by Karin Clarke. A total of $2,500 in prize money will be awarded, including a “People’s Choice” selection, which will be awarded based on votes of those in attendance. Selected Artists can also continue to exhibit their work at the Florence Events Center in Galleries 1 and 5 through the end of May. Read more


NATIONAL DANCE WEEK – CALL FOR DANCERS AND DANCE ACTIVITIES

The City of Eugene will be celebrating its first National Dance week. They are in search of performing and visual artists who celebrate dance as an art form. CELTIC ART EXHIBIT

Rogue Gallery & Art Center invites artists to submit a work for an event inspired by Celtic art and/or by Ireland. No charge for members to submit, non-members $10. All styles and media are welcome. A $100 prize is awarded for Best in Show and a $50 award for People’s Choice. Read more

INTERACTIVE ART INSTALLATIONS – ART AND THE VINEYARD

The Maude Kerns Art Center is looking for interactive art installations for the 2019 Art and the Vineyard festival. 6 sculptures and/or installations will be displayed throughout the festival. Installations that create shade or activate natural shade are preferred, but not necessary. Each artist or art team will receive a stipend of $200, can sell their artworks, and will be included on our website, print, and social media publications. Read more


HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT REGIONAL ART CONTEST: CELEBRATE THE WEST

The Western Governors’ Association is proud to announce its 4th Annual “Celebrate the West” regional art competition that challenges high school students to create works inspired by their state. Oregon students have not submitted as many entries in the past and are especially encouraged to apply! Students are welcome to submit artwork used for other contests or assignments. Students’ artwork will be returned, and shipping will be paid for by WGA. It is easy to enter- students only need to email a photograph of their artwork along with the entry form – find the form and more info here.


SISTERS OUTDOOR QUILT SHOW

The Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is accepting applications starting 2/15/19. The show is noted as the “Worlds Largest Quilt Show” and last year showed over 1,400 quilts. There is a quilt block contest, a sew down, and raffle prizes that day of the show. Read more
