YouthArts Program Assistant
Photography (year-round)
Photograph YouthARTS and Lane Arts Council special events and activities around Lane County. Need to have flexible schedule. Requirements: photography experience, digital camera experience a plus. Must have own car and willing to travel.
First Friday ArtWalk (year-round)
Work with Program Assistant and ARTWalk committee to schedule galleries to be on the tour, produce monthly press releases and fliers, and attend every ARTWalk. Interns will have the opportunity to meet local artists, art patrons and the community. Requirements: Interest/experience in arts and public relations and strong writing and communication skills.
Grants Research (year-round)
Assist Program Director with organization of grant information, research possible funding sources, review status of grants that have been received by Lane Arts Council, and report to grantors. Requirements: Attention to detail, strong writing and communication skills.
Publication
Special project option: revise and update the tourist brochure, “Out & About”. Requirements: Attention to detail, experience in graphic design, strong writing and communication skills.
Volunteer Opportunities
Office Assistant (year-round)
Assist Lane Arts Council staff with various office tasks. Duties include database entry, assist with bulk mailings and other special projects and special events.
Distribution Team (year-round)
Assist Lane Arts Council staff to promote special events or programs. Duties include distribution and post fliers or posters on a designated route in downtown and other local areas and develop and maintain an accurate flier/poster route.
