Crowdfunding represents a new way for entrepreneurs, artists and individuals to fund their projects. This workshop will cover the basics of crowdfunding and how to develop a crowdfunding campaign. This workshop is perfect for the beginner, someone thinking about working on their first campaign with a funding goal of several hundred dollars up to $20K. A workbook will be provided to guide the development of individual campaigns along with access to online resources.
About the Presenter:
Shawn Winkler-Rios is the owner of Soloprenur, a local business offering consulting and online entrepreneurial training. He was Executive Director for eDev for 10 years and past board member & chair of the Oregon Micro-Enterprise Network (OMEN). He also serves on the board for the Center for Rural Entrepreneurship located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
This workshop is presented in partnership with the City of Eugene Cultural Services Division.
