Strengthen your portfolio and increase opportunities to show your work locally and regionally. These two discussions will focus on best practices of building a portfolio, presenting your work, connecting with galleries and arts organizations, and creating professional materials that make you and your work shine. Learn how to find and submit to juried exhibitions and what jurors consider during the review process.

Part of Professional Practice, Lane Arts Council’s new professional development program for artists and creatives. Participants continually learn together through an ongoing four month series of workshops paired with group discussions.

Workshops will feature presentations from local experts, individual and group work, and assignments to be completed following the workshop. Participants will then come back together two weeks after the workshop for continued group discussion and to debrief completed work.
