Artist Feedback Sessions

Lane Arts CouncilArtCity, and the Creative Sector Strategy group are calling all artists – visual artists, musicians, theatre artists, literary artists, dancers, designers, makers, and all creatives – to share what resources and opportunities are most needed during this unprecedented time. The feedback received will inform local arts organizations on how to best support artists and ultimately, uplift the arts in our community.

Two Artist Feedback Sessions will be held on Thursday, November 19th. You are welcome to attend either (or both!) of these sessions. Click on the button below to register.

Our community doesn’t look the same as it did a year ago; everyone has faced changes due to this pandemic. Many artists are facing an entirely new way of working. We want to hear directly from artists in our region on what challenges they’re currently facing and what resources and opportunities would be the most beneficial to them in the year ahead. This might include professional development, funding opportunities, studio/performance space availability, along with myriad other areas relevant for participating artists.

Whether you’re a visual artist, musician, theatre artist, literary artist, dancer, designer, maker, or creative, we want to hear from you! These Artist Feedback Sessions will be casual virtual gatherings on Zoom where artists will have the chance to provide input on offerings and resources for artists in our community and connect with one another in smaller breakout groups. Artists can also contribute their responses to an Artist Feedback Survey. This information will help inform our Zoom sessions, but the survey will remain open to continue collecting responses. Give your feedback in either (or BOTH) of these two ways:

  1. Attend one of two scheduled Artist Feedback Sessions through Zoom
  2. Complete the Artist Feedback Survey

All are welcome to attend the Artist Feedback Sessions and fill out the survey. The feedback we receive will be used to inform arts organizations in our region. We will use this feedback to provide more useful and relevant resources and opportunities for artists.

Please share this opportunity with your artist networks. The more voices and perspectives that we can include, the better!
