Project Description
During this residency, students will explore the wide world of watercolor! Students will learn the fundamentals of color theory, brush handling, and a variety of watercolor techniques. Through the process, students will discover their unique voices as watercolor artists. By the end of the class, students will bring home a final product and instruction pieces.
Final Product
Students will bring home a fun and colorful watercolor piece, along with the instruction pieces for future reference.

Why I teach art:
The reason I am passionate about teaching is to see my student’s faces light up! Nothing brings me more joy than teaching. Watercolor can be a frustrating medium. Teaching new students how to “let-go” with watercolor opens the artist heart up for imperfections and fun.
