Wordcrafters in Eugene invites you to be a part of StoryHelix by sharing your stories about “belonging” and your experience living in Eugene, Lane County, and Oregon. All community members are invited to participate!

As a part of the first featured collection, Lane Arts Council is partnering with Wordcrafters in Eugene to highlight stories from BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) identifying community members. A few stories will be selected to be visually represented by graphic designers or illustrators, and installed as a public art project around downtown Eugene during August and September.

Here’s how to contribute your story to the collection:
1. Choose the prompt you want to respond to
2. Collect your thoughts (or attend an upcoming storytelling workshop)
Graphic designers and illustrators interested in being part of Story Helix can find out more here.

StoryHelix is project by Wordcrafters in Eugene, in partnership with Lane Arts Council, the Whiteaker Community Arts Team, and the Strides for Social Justice App, and sponsored in part by the City of Eugene Cultural Services Downtown Program Fund!
