Ashley Gonzalez es una artista nacida en Los Ángeles, con raíces indígenas a través de sus padres, quienes emigraron de México y El Salvador. A los 33 años, Ashley se dedica a brindar apoyo significativo a comunidades subrepresentadas mediante remedios herbales, arte, música y ceremonias. Inspirada por sus tradiciones culturales y el tiempo que pasó en la cocina de su madre, donde observó la creación de magia curativa, Ashley ahora vende productos orgánicos de sanación y pinta obras que reflejan su herencia cultural. Facilita círculos de mujeres para inspirar conexión, empoderamiento y logros colectivos, basándose en las enseñanzas de sus mayores. El arte y las ceremonias de Ashley, que incluyen tambores y canciones, buscan ofrecer una sanación profunda y mostrar la fortaleza y resiliencia de las raíces indígenas. At 33, Ashley dedicates herself to providing meaningful support to underrepresented communities through herbal remedies, art, music, and ceremonies. Como madre primeriza, Josie está aprendiendo su rol de madre mientras explora formas de mantener para su familia. El arte de Josie está profundamente inspirada en su familia, sus experiencias personales y el planeta. Alma, la dueña de Peek-A-Boo Delight, ha sido una orgullosa residente de Eugene desde que emigró de la Ciudad de México hace 23 años. Inspirada por el alto contenido de azúcar en el helado comercial, Alma decidió abrir un negocio de dulces mexicanos para traer los sabores auténticos de su país a los Estados Unidos, sin los aditivos artificiales comunes en los helados de hoy. Ofrece una variedad de dulces de su infancia y ha incluso introducido opciones saladas, como los Tostilocos, populares entre los jóvenes. A través de su negocio, Alma trabaja duro para representar su herencia mexicana, la cual siente que no existe en la comunidad del centro de Eugene.

Alma, the owner of Peek-A-Boo Delight, has been a proud resident of Eugene since she immigrated from Mexico City 23 years ago. Inspired by the high sugar content in store-bought ice cream, Alma decided to open a Mexican sweets business to bring the authentic flavors of her home country to the U.S. without the artificial additives common in today’s ice creams. She offers a variety of sweet treats from her childhood and has even introduced savory options, like Tostilocos, popular among younger crowds. Through her business, Alma aims to highlight her Mexican heritage, which she feels is often overlooked in the downtown community.
