Lane Arts Council’s August 2nd First Friday ArtWalk officially kicks off Visual Arts Week! Visual Arts Week (VAW) celebrates the visual arts by bringing together hundreds of local, regional, national and international artists through multiple visual platforms: gallery, contemporary and street art. It aims to celebrate and give visibility to the visual arts community by providing a platform for experimentation, creativity, and dialogue that strengthens our community’s quality of life and social well-being.
Lane Arts Council’s August 2nd First Friday ArtWalk is guest-hosted by Kate Ali, Public Art Manager for the City of Eugene.
