Lane Arts Council’s Empresarios de Fiesta Cultural events are now in full swing!
These events are put on in collaboration with local emerging and established Latino/a/x/e cultural producers, Empresarios de Fiesta Cultural. This effort is intended to support these cultural producers in expanding their understanding of and skillset to create public-facing events during Fiesta Cultural and beyond.
Laura Martinez hosted “Ven a Nuestra Casa” on December 12th, which was a hit. It included a demonstration of holiday foods by Xicha, flower arrangements by Chase Flowers & Gifts, as well as additional presentations about festive drinks, textiles, and dishware all from a variety of Latino/a/x/e cultures.
