Testimonials

“This workshop of “human towers” was really spectacular for the students because it gave them a deeper knowledge of one of the most typical, emblematic and beautiful traditions of Catalonia. I think it is a great opportunity for students to imagine themselves being part of a group of people who create a human tower, having learned all that it entails: effort, balance and wisdom.”

—Teacher from Buena Vista Middle School

Why I teach art:

“I’m originally from Barcelona, Catalonia. I have been part of the Human Tower’s team Castellers de Vilafranca all my life. I have been leading team building activities and conferences around the world for schools, universities and companies for more than thirty years. Now, living in Eugene Oregon with my family, I want to share my experiences and know-how. I believe it’s very important to open new windows to students by exposing and involving them in other cultural expressions.”
