Program Description
Students will explore the surfaces, objects, and textures surrounding them as they go on a journey to uncover the many potential art prints that surround them. From tracing with crayons or colored pencils to making a stamp out of everyday household items, this lesson will expose students to the limitless potential artmaking tools that surround them every day. This lesson teaches visual arts standards while touching on science standards.

Supplies
Recycled texture materials for experimentation such as bubble wrap and vegetable net bags, watercolor paint or pencils, paintbrush or sponge, paint palette, palette knife or popsicle sticks, pencil, cardboard or plastic work surface, thin cardboard, scissors, water container
Recommended: lace, leftover tea and coffee, eye dropper, ruler
