Giving young people access to arts education is central to Lane Arts Council’s mission. Especially now, as we recover from the upheaval of the past year, connecting art with the youth of Lane County will foster healing and build self-esteem as our world re-opens and we are able to return to in-person learning. Our well-known core programs, Creative Link, Artist Residencies and Design Arts Apprenticeship, have served thousands of students and youth. This past year, the shutdown of schools and in-person events caused us to make a quick pivot to virtual learning resulting in ArtStream, which by the end of this school year will have produced 135 live and recorded arts lessons.
Lane Arts Council’s Arts Education Program Coordinator will work with teaching artists, school administrators, and community leaders across our programs to continue to bring arts education to youth throughout Lane County. Work with a dynamic team as part of one of Lane County’s leading arts organizations!
Lane Arts Council strongly encourages applicants who identify as Black, Indigenous, or Persons of Color, Latino/a/x, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and Spanish-language speakers.
