Lane Arts Council is looking for performing artists and musicians across multiple disciplines who can provide single or back-to-back performances in a school assembly setting.
Through Lane Arts Council’s Artist Assembly program, professional performing artists offer students an engaging and exciting experience of their art form. Assemblies are typically 45-60 minutes in length and are often performed for the entire school.
As schools continue rebuilding from the COVID disruptions, they are utilizing performance assemblies as an opportunity for students to gather together and build community through the joy of the arts. Quality performance assemblies provide young people with authentic learning experiences that engage minds, hearts, and bodies.
In this round of recruitment, we are prioritizing performing artists who can lead assemblies distinct from the programs currently represented on our roster.
All artists, regardless of art form and practice, will be reviewed with full consideration and are encouraged to apply.
