ArtCore is a three year middle school journey of discovering one’s self, one’s place in the community, and one’s role in the world through the creative integration of studio habits of mind across student learning.

Young Audiences

Young Audiences is a connector. They bring arts and education together by pairing talented teaching artists with schools and community programs. Students actively participate in music, drama, visual arts, dance and literary arts through residencies, performances, workshops and family arts nights.

Young Audiences’ Teaching Artist Studio (TA Studio) is a professional development program for teaching artists in Oregon and SW Washington. They work with artists from all disciplines and media—performing, visual, literary, digital, and more.

The Right Brain Initiative

The Right Brain Initiative helps change the way kids learn in the Portland metro area by bringing discovery, collaboration and creativity into the classroom. They make change by training educators to weave creative thinking into core subjects; enabling collaboration between the arts community and K-8 teachers; and by being community partners, bringing together resources to empower kids.

Mandala Center for Change

The Mandala Center is a multi-disciplinary arts and education organization dedicated to community dialogue, social justice and societal healing and transformation. Through experiential workshops, theatre performances, and other creative events, the Mandala Center invites people to be more awake and alive as well as empowered to take action toward a more just and joyous life for all people.
