“How to Tell Your Story with Social Media” Workshop
Are you using social media to tell the story of your work? This workshop will cover strategies on how to tell your story with visuals through social media. The workshop will cover some social media basics and easy to use tools to enhance your existing social media sites including Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Join us and learn how to tell a visually fun and interesting story to build connections and engage the community with your work.
About the presenter:
Debbie Williamson Smith has worked at the University of Oregon’s Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art since 2006 and manages the marketing, public relations and electronic communications including social media for the museum. She served on the web communications team that established the nationally-recognized social media guidelines for the University of Oregon. Prior to working at the JSMA, she worked for Travel Lane County in several positions culminating as the Public Relations Manager handling the media relations for that organization as well as the Willamette Valley Visitors Association.
