City of Eugene Cultural Services teams up with Harmonic Laboratory and ArtCity to present Downtown Happenings, a series of events that embrace the winter season with fun and unexpected downtown art and entertainment.  Harmonic Laboratory’s Winter Lights activate interior street-facing windows with digital video-art works, while ArtCity’s Rain Play is an ephemeral sidewalk visual art installation that only appears when it rains.

Winter Lights artists and locations:

  • Former Rogue Brewery (844 Olive St) – Olive del Sol
  • Former Sykes (190 W 8th Ave) – Vanessa Fuller; Tannon Reckling
  • McDonald Theatre (1010 Willamette St) – Rick Silva’s “Geomancer”; Cullen Vance

A map of Rain Play art installation locations and artists will be available soon.
