How to participate in First Friday:
As an ARTWALK VENUE:
If you are interested in participating in the First Friday ArtWalk as a location on the guided tour or venue listed in the materials, please contact Jessica Watson, the First Friday ArtWalk Coordinator, at email@example.com.
As a SPONSOR:
Sponsors make the First Friday ArtWalk possible. As a sponsor, your business will be featured on all ArtWalk publications, as well as mentioned at all of the guided tour stops during the ArtWalk. Click here for more details.
As a SPECIAL EVENT:
If you are organizing an arts event that takes place on the First Friday of the month in downtown Eugene, your event is eligible to be listed in the First Friday ArtWalk materials. Please contact First Friday ArtWalk Coordinator Jessica Watson at firstname.lastname@example.org with the event name, address, time, cost, and a brief description.
As a VISUAL ARTIST:
- Artist Alley
During the months June-October, Lane Arts Council hosts Artist Alley, an opportunity for artists to sell their original work during the First Friday ArtWalk. Artist Alley takes place in Kesey Square in downtown Eugene. Email us at email@example.com.
- Featured Artist
Stops on the First Friday ArtWalk guided tour are scheduled based on requests by participating art venues. If you would like to be a featured artist on the guided tour, please have the gallery featuring your artwork make the official request.
As a MUSICIAN:
- At an Art Venue
The First Friday ArtWalk is primarily a visual arts event; however, there are some occasions in which music is incorporated into the event! If you would like to be hired as a musician to play at any of the art venues downtown, you will need to contact the specific art venue you are interested in.
- In Kesey Square
From June-October, Lane Arts Council holds special events in Kesey Square during the First Friday ArtWalk. Performances are coordinated during months with nicer weather, however we are not accepting musical inquiries at this time.
Please check back for more details about our summer programming.
