About ArtSpark Eugene

ArtSpark Eugene is a collaborative initiative led by Rotary Club of Eugene, Lane Arts Council, Eugene Education Foundation, Eugene School District 4J to provide every elementary school in Eugene 4J with high-quality arts education through Lane Arts Council’s artist in residence program.

Thanks to ArtSpark, all twenty 4J elementary schools are receiving an artist residency during the 2018-2019 school year, with the ten Title I elementary schools each receiving two, for a total of 30 residencies allocated for the school year. This program is reaching 7,400 students and providing more than 1,000 hours of quality arts education.

As champions for arts education, these organizations came together around the belief that the arts are essential for learning and developing a well-rounded education. In April 2019, the Rotary Club of Eugene will host the third annual ArtSpark gala event to continue fundraising for this worthy cause.

We appreciate all those who have invested in creativity! Thank you for your generous contributions to the ArtSpark Eugene. (please designate “ArtSpark” in the memo line of your donation).
