Through the ArtSpark initiative, the Rotary Club of Eugene, Eugene Education Foundation, Eugene School District 4J and multiple sponsors are working together to provide every elementary school in the Eugene School District 4J with high-quality arts education opportunities through Lane Arts Council’s artist residency program.

For the 2017-2018 school year, all twenty 4J elementary schools will receive an artist residency, with the ten Title I elementary schools each receiving two artist residencies, for a total of 30 residencies allocated for the school year. This program will reach 7,400 students and provide more than 1,000 hours of quality arts education.

As champions for arts education, these organizations came together around the belief that the arts are essential for learning and developing a well-rounded education. In April 2018, the Rotary Club of Eugene hosted its second annual ArtSpark gala event.

We appreciate all those who have invested in creativity! Thank you for your contributions to the ArtSpark initiative and fundraising event.
