INTERACTIVE ART INSTALLATIONS – ART AND THE VINEYARD

The Maude Kerns Art Center is looking for interactive art installations for the 2019 Art and the Vineyard festival. 6 sculptures and/or installations will be displayed throughout the festival. Installations that create shade or activate natural shade are preferred, but not necessary. Each artist or art team will receive a stipend of $200, can sell their artworks, and will be included on our website, print, and social media publications. Read more
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT REGIONAL ART CONTEST: CELEBRATE THE WEST

The Western Governors’ Association is proud to announce its 4th Annual “Celebrate the West” regional art competition that challenges high school students to create works inspired by their state. Oregon students have not submitted as many entries in the past and are especially encouraged to apply! Students are welcome to submit artwork used for other contests or assignments. Students’ artwork will be returned, and shipping will be paid for by WGA. It is easy to enter- students only need to email a photograph of their artwork along with the entry form – find the form and more info here.
SISTERS OUTDOOR QUILT SHOW

The Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show is accepting applications starting 2/15/19. The show is noted as the “Worlds Largest Quilt Show” and last year showed over 1,400 quilts. There is a quilt block contest, a sew down, and raffle prizes that day of the show. Read more
