As Oregon’s public health restrictions are gradually lifted, a number of galleries and arts businesses have now opened their doors again. To reduce crowding and allow for safe social distancing, we are expanding the ArtWalk experience to a full week! Join us in kicking off July First Friday ArtWeek with this special artist talk by Ken O’Connell on Lane Arts Council’s Facebook on July 3rd at 10am! “Ken O’Connell: A Retrospective,” on display at Karin Clarke Gallery, showcases his drawings, sketchbooks, paintings, prints, photography, animation, and ceramic works, dating from 1963-2020. Ken was the head of the University of Oregon’s Fine and Applied Art Department for twelve years and is a dedicated sketchbook artist, who has filled nearly 100 sketchbooks. Read more
