Lane Arts Council connects Hamlin Middle School eighth graders with local professional artists through our Arts Apprenticeship Program. As the first term of the program comes to an end, students’ showcased their ceramic creations, watercolor paintings, websites, and video production, created with the guidance of their mentors. The end results were impressive, but the best results were the students and mentors asking  “Can we sign up again?”

The quality of instruction by the mentors was fantastic. They gave the students great technical knowledge as well as inspired them to foster their own creativity.– Hamlin Parent
